Art Tutorials
After quite a few people advised that I do a series of art tutorials on the various techniques and mediums that I use to create my one-off art pieces, I caved into pressure and tentatively started recording some of the artwork I produce to help others achieve the same results at home (without the need of a studio). I started by testing the waters with silk painting (focusing on drawing on silk, using and applying gutta, applying the silk paint itself and creating special effects using sponges and salt crystals). I will also be creating art tutorials on pencil drawing (basic skills, tone/shading/texture, cartoon/comic style, hyper realism, still life, landscape, portraiture and fantasy themed), pen & ink techniques, oil painting, watercolour, acrylic painting, sculpture (clay and metal/wire work), mixed media (collage, paper mache, lino cut, etching), glass painting (mural techniques), and map making (looking at how to create fantasy maps for books). For more videos, check out my YouTube channel. Enjoy! :)
